June 2026: Welcome Andy Kowalczewski

We'd like to welcome Andy Kowalczewski, PhD to the lab as a postdoctoral research fellow. Andy has wide ranging experience from over the years, starting with wet lab work in post bacc employment and shifting to computational biology with a heavy ML/AI focus in his PhD training at Syracuse University in the lab of Dr. Zhen Ma. First order of business for Andy is to take a deep dive into human population genetics research, with a goal of integrating his computational expertise to level up our genetics to mechanism modeling in human cardiac tissue. Thrilled to have him onboard. Welcome Andy!
