Variants to mechanisms for cardiac disease

Genetic discovery for risk of cardiovascular disease has been wildly successful, with hundreds of genomic loci directly tethered to altered genetic risk. However, translating these loci into gene targets and mechanism is incredibly challenging. Our goal is to do this variant to mechanism link at scale, using techniques ranging from in vitro models of genetic perturbations, large-scale single cell sequencing of human tissue, and improved genomic state modeling.
